SLEEPOVER AT MY HOUSE (: i miss my gang!!!! and i still cant believe we were so hungry that we wolfed down 66 nuggets, 2 pizzas and 2 pastas!! well, maybe we just ate quickly. Chanahwei was the one that did all the wolfing down.

Poor me and danao was running all over the place buying food and doing delivery for the bunch of spoilt kids rotting at my house whining for food. TSKTSK!

We were so busy snatching up food (before Mrchan could take them all) that we forgot about our milo!!! BOOOO!!

noeleen had a cute hairstyle and its growing on me!! i wont go to such a drastic extent to poof up my hair (because i hum-ji) but i might do something to it.

My hammies are sick! they have some fungal attack to the top of thier head and after applying the medicine, they just look like old balding ahpeks, with all their fur stuck sleekly to their scalp! =( but still cute, nevertheless!

Brought them to the clinic i was working and dispense their medicine BY MYSELF!! gave them antifungal solution with kerozol pills =D

LALALA! feel damn happy that i am able to treat my own animals. well, i better not say too soon since they have yet to recover from it yet.

They are such greedy hamsters that i have no problem feeding them their medications. I am supposed to be syringe-feeding them but that was unnecessary because they just sucked up all the syrup medicine willingly.

i am a LEGAL, QUALIFIED DIVER =DDD the trip to tioman was very fun! Of course there was hiccups here and there but in the end we just laughed about it and moved on. There is just so much things to explore and do there, for us to be bothered by hiccups.

Anyway, fyi i have been taking diving lessons and doing some theory stuff to take my diving license. Thus the trip to Tioman with 3 of my cousins, my sis and dad was for both recreational purpose as well as a test on our diving skills. I PASS ALL 4 TESTS (:

some interesting stuff that happened;

1. We chose live-on-board instead of land chalets so it was damn cool because every night, we will be rocked to sleep. well, at least it was cool for me since i dont get motion sickness. feels like i am back to that "yao lao" thingie when i was a baby. And the deck of the boat is damn cool! i can tan and roast myself in the day and watch shooting stars at night! =D

2. my dad was being exceptionally paranoid. Underwater, he kept signalling to us that he's out of air when he actually isnt. then he will start hyperventilating, inflate his BCD and shoot out of the water like a rocket. Thus, he's lungs overexpanded from the ascending pressure and he had breathing difficulty afterthat -.- very smart lah daddy

3. me and shirley (older cousin) lost our team because when everyone was all positioned to deflate their BCD and enter the water, both of us were still fumbling with our regulator. So by the time we actually deflate and submerge, no one else was in sight -.- So after finning around and exchanging looks of confusion, we finally ascended and only to realised that we are actually damn far away from the rest!

4. We dived so much that when we were lying still in our bunks at night, we could feel as if our mask and regulator were still intact and we were still breathing with our mouth. When they close their eyes, they claim that they can still see corals and fishes. but i dont know WHY, when i close mine, i just see COCKROACHES. oh the horrors!

5. THE UNDERWATER WOLRD IS GORGEOUS. i have nothing else more to say about it, its just GORGEOUS BEYOND BELIEVE! the corals! the fishes! the marine life! the eels! the crabs! and the way the symbiotic relationship works in the underwater world, its just MAGICAL~

Okay, i think i should stop going on and on about it because you really have to be there, in order to really experience all that! I LOVE ADVENTURES! but like, now i am abit deaf and numb in my nose =S

the holidays are tooo short! so many things to do!

Exams have ended since thursday and nao chose the best time to call me, right after my paper (: I am sorry for not contacting u guys much. These few weeks was BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

but i wasnt totally happy after the paper because there's still VPL to do. Vet Professional Life- its not what you think it is! Yerr.. so i am still working on it now. It shouldnt be taking this long but i have been procastinating ALOT. and really, there wasnt time for me to actually sit down and complete it lorr.

Been out shopping n running errands at habourtown...city...freo...kardinya, karaoke-ing etc etc. Best meal was at freo with deb! I love her man! She's the one that will binge majorly with me (so i dont feel like a freak doing so! heh x) and satisfy my craving anytime anywhere! HAHA=D craving for food lah. what were you thinking! I want tasty food, we get tasty food. I want pizza, we got a whole big pizza+whole roll of garlic bread to ourselves. I want scones, we briskwalked/ran to winthrop.

and yesterday, i was craving for chilli mussels and scones again! SO we had it! HAHAHA! omg. the mountain of chilli mussels we ate =X

And so much for catching up on my sleep. The amount of hours i spent in my sleep now is actually lesser than the exam period -.- OKAY, I am going to sleep like now! so i can have my 9hrs of sleep and wake up at 9.30 tomorrow to send deb off (from the house =D)

Then! i will continue working on VPL, do some errands again, shop for my bike and off for a movie marathon!! =DDD lalala! IKEA ON SUNDAY AND THEN HOMEEEEEEEEE~

We has leftover egg white from dinner and so being thrifty uni students, we decided to use it for our face (: So now i am waiting for the egg white to dry and the wonders! my nose does feel tighter now! ohohoho! if it works, we are eating just eggyolks next time!

Deb made soup for me and was like,

"ehh u add more tofu to your soup"

"because there is no meat inside there"

cereals- i finish a whole box of them within a week! and was complaining that i wont have anymore cereals to eat until end of exams. and knowing how grumpy and whiny i get without cereals, she bought me another box!
soy milk- she knows i diedie also must drink soymilk with milo every morning.

I am either very predictable or she realllyyyy knows me very well! heh!

just finished my anatomy theory paper today. i am not going to talk about it. since the sight/sound of it makes me sick in the stomach =( SIGHH such a demoralising first paper, and now i have to continue qionging for the paper on monday, as well as the one on wednesday.

Rae: Yahh! Its crazy man! and i am not allowed to have heater in my room. I went to ask the aunty again if i can have one and she nagged at me for the whole day about why we shouldnt have heaters. =S and today morning she told me that there was a house that burnt down because of the heater. LOL!

PIZZA DELIVERY to 8 raffaele again!! I love dominos and their pizza system! They update you about the status of the pizza. heh! Aust's system is cuter than that but i cant find a pic of it.

Our pizza is currently in the oven =) They will update you again when they leave the store! Heh, i kind of hope they forgot the tomato base for our pizza because u will get a whole new one free! HAHA!

The last time we ordered, it came without the tomato base so (being singaporeans and a malaysian), we called them up to complain. It was just to get a kick out of it because we werent expecting a free one from them. But they apologised profusely and delivered a total new one for us =DD yoohoo!

and they didnt even bother to check if there really is missing tomato base in our pizza! x)

Despite not going anywhere other than the murdoch suburb, I have been subjected to extreme overheating and freezing. Wearing 3 layers of long sleeve with thermal pants and walking around in the house in my oddly coloured socks, is certainly not a very fun thing to do. But if i dont do that, my butt will seriously come off from the cold. I have no idea why the rooms in the house are so cold!

So when i walk out to the kitchen area to study with deb, we both overheat like madness. But because i have to constantly go back to my room to get stuff, i just left the multiple paddings on and thus suffer from major self-induced bushfire.

At the anatomy museum, its damn ridiculous but we were all padded like no one's business too!! weyyin was wearing her gloves and we were wearing our scarfs! all dressed like a TOOT but its really damn cold!

Leaving the anatomy musuem towards the library is a whole new story again. THE LIBRARY IS SO HOT AND STUFFY!! weyyin's bro say its because the school is being stingy (i dont see how much of a financial difficulty they will be facing when we are all paying 40000 for our annual school fees?!?). Thus, the aircon is being switched off after library opening hours.

its a damn good thing that i am not cold-blooded.

Staying home alone is UTTERLY boring! after being surrounded by sooo many people while studying, for the past few days. Even deb is out to get her LV wallet! I have been WANTING to go with her since she asked me along last week!!!! =(((

But thanks to my malfunctioning gastrointestinal tract (sorry, i had to sound that scientific.) Its such an irony to be studying for the quiz next week about gastrointestinal tract and here i am, suffering pathetically from a disabled one.

and no, that DOES NOT help me understand and relate more to the stupid tract. URGH!! so now in order to spare the toilet of my brilliant waterfall and the vet gang of my smelly explosion of gases, i decided to mob around at home =(

I die already lah. totally cannot function without company. The vet library is flooded with people of "our kind!". Firstly, it was just me and mike. Then Yan and Jess came along. A day later, Weyyin decided to join us. Then, brandon. Yesterday deb tagged along with me and alexis merrily walked in at 4pm, upon waking up. and there was v-jun also!

So by 5pm yesterday it was OUR TIAN XIA-dynasty! with Me, Yan, Jess, Weyyin, Deb, Mike, Brandon, Alexis and V-jun =DD and erm, one or two minorities lah. Vet common room is ours too! We even hijacked the vending machine in vet common room. Well, me yan and jess were unsuccessful but the guys did it! =D FREE CRUNCH. haha, technically its not free because mike paid for it -.-

This is probably the only time (in the whole of this week) whereby i can actually sit down and do my work! But i just cannot bring myself to swing back into studymode! I keep nua-ing!! I have been in this nua-mode since the Biochem paper on monday.

Monday;

I went baskin robins for my VERY CHOCOLATE icecream (been craving for that for DAYSS!!) with yan, jess, weyyin (Mike and alexis were just being guys)
After that, we nua-ed at weyyin's house and watched STORM RIDERS (EKIN CHEN+ AARON KWOK= BLEEDING NOSE ME!! )
Karaoke for FIVE solid hours after that!! I WAS MAJORLY HIGH.and sorry lor, if your couches are new. =P
Then we stayed over at Yan's place!

Tuesday:

Took my HPPT and got my driving license (I look majorly like a stunned deer in my driving license because the twit taking my photo didnt tell me when he was snapping! KNS! )
Then i met the rest at city to do some shopping for Lynnette and Mumtash.
After futile attempts at getting the ideal present, we walked damn far to hkBBQ to get roast duck+charsiew dinner
Decided to surprise brandon at their place with a miss maud's mudcake at 9plus at night. It wasnt much of a surprise, thanks to mike teo -.-

Wednesday:

Attended school for the whole day because there was lab (and yes, i actually got school this week -.- its just that we self-declared no school if there is no anatomy lectures. nowadays, we dont even go for anatomy lectures -.- )
Met deb after that for grocery shopping. As usual we look like we are preparing for war, carrying all those groceries and publictransport-ing home =S I bought a placebo missmaud mudcake =) (poor uni students what!)

Thursday:

Attended school and went home to nua in front of the tv after dinner. OHOH! this is the funny day whereby me and deb cannot stop eating for the entire night! HAHAHA! we are just nuaing and eating for the whole damn night + freak ourselves out by watching ghost whisperer. but i cant stop watching because jennifer is so pretty!!

Friday:

King's park picnic with cherry, cheryl and deb =DD fun fun! then after that, we went for late night shopping and I SAW RAEE!! omggg i miss her i miss her i miss her!!! that explains the passionate hug! HAHAHA X)

And finally, its saturday today and I HAVENT GOT ANY WORK DONE YET!! the week just flew past! Tonight, there will be another sleepover at weyyin's and the whole of sunday will be PLAY TIME!!!!! =DD gonna marathon from bullcreek to burswood and then buffet dinner at night!! x)

YAY YAY!! okay, i STILL NEED to start work! come on!!!

I feel so excluded from the real world :( Its like my life revolves around nothing but vet-ty stuff. When i am in school, i attend vet lectures, hang out with vet friends, talk about vet stuff, gossip about people from vet.

When i am back home, i listen to the vet lectures online (those of which i didnt attend. which is just about all of the units except anatomy) and i do my vet notes for the vet exams.

After exams, hang out with my superbestvettyfriends. I hardly get to see rae, lijin and all already because they too are too preoccupied in their courses. I hardly get to actually BE online since i am appearing offline most of the time.(trying to abstain myself from all sorts of distractions) So there goes my connection with the Singapore people and dear trishmommy!

=( SIGH!! Vet science is really really overtaking my life. I am not complaining (because i have great vet companions!) and i am actually enjoying this most of the time. But its just that, I feel abit disconnected from the rest of the world. And i dont have that much of a time to get myself back onto the "rest-of-the-world" because the amount of workload is NEVERENDING and if i cant keep up with the beat, there goes my sleep.

URGH! feels so damn claustrophobic! I need more time with people outside my vet life too! but it seems like whenever i go back to my room after HZGG with deb, and upon planting myself on the chair, its TIMETOCATCHUPONMYWORK!

where has the time to go online and chat with people gone to? where has the time to reply and send emails gone to? where has the time to call people to randomly chat gone to? where has the time to blog gone to? WHERE HAS ALL MY TIME GONE TO?

all to my budding career. And that is why, i am reallly dreading the vet career; not for the reason of the job but because i know its going to be worst when i enter the career.

Me and deb just had our damn shiok fish curry~~ (when its not being held in comparison with the fish curries we have in singapore lahh, its still damn shiok =D)

She's doing this damn retarded chinese quiz to test her chinese and one of the question was to ask her to translate "wo de ming zi shi xiao niao" -> my name is small bird. OMG HOW STUPID!! HAHAHAAH!

Ohyah, my choc and cereal craving is fulfilled, once again! I seem to have these cravings every damn week. Anyway, just now we were at the can tuna section and..

deb picked up the tuna with brine
"What's brine?"
"Huh. Dont know? Sounds funny"
"Yahlah, who will buy?! I get my thai curry one better."

So we just hecked the outcasted brine and went on cruising to the other aisles. We were unpacking at home and were damn happy about our TEN CANS OF TUNA until deb checked her tuna and went,

"ehh.. U took my tuna arh? Where is my thai curry one?"
"Har? no lah. Not me!"
"Then where is my thai curry one??? EHH.. this one not mine lah! "

*holds up tuna IN BRINE*

I just rolled over laughing like mad. She bought the OUTCAST BRINE instead of the thai curry one. OMGGG.. HAHAHAH! she was so pissed at the brine tuna that she just open and finished it.

I havent been posting much since. for the past two days, i have been trying to qiong my work. slacked most of my study break away and it was only on thursday when me and yan start to panic.

However, the panic did not last long because minutes later, i was trying to psycho everyone to go karaoke with me! I must get all those obiang chinese songs out of my system!! And yah, like i said, since we already slacked most of the study break, might as well do it to the end. But in the end, we decided against it because we stinked abit from the greyhound dissection.

The smell of the greyhound was APPALLING! but we managed fine, erm... even ate the double choc chip subway cookie that mike brought with him -.- I guess this is what they meant by, "you will get used to it..." when we first when EWW! URGHH!! YIKES!! in our first dissection.

Ohwells. My stupid tooth is still hurting me even after getting it fixed. I think the pain just got worst. You have no idea how shocked and freaked out deb and i were when we realised i got this "extra molar" at the side. I went to the toilet to scrutinise the aching pain in my tooth and realise that an extra block of enamel stuck to the side of my existing molar!!

I ran out of the toilet to deb and make her look at my tooth too. Then we both concluded that its damn freaky so i called yan n jess!! they both -.- me. The kiasu and kiasi me immediately booked a dental appointment after that.

So, its fixed now but still painful :( hrmph! Okay, i shall look at Jerry yan and his hotness one last time before i make a start on my work! I AM SO BEHIND TIME ITS NOT FUNNEH. one midsems every week till the finals is not funneh either!

I want my karaoke, post easter celebration and marathon from burswood to bullcreek!!!!!!!!!

I had a great birthday yesterday. thanks to everybody (: Woke up to a birthday morning with jess beside me, yan at the head end (on the floor) and Weyyin at the feet end (on the floor). Suddenly i was so overwhelmed with bliss that i just embraced jess-ep =)

Had a quick breakfast before heading off to adventure theme park. The entrace fee and food were freaking expensive but it was money well-spent in the company of those three (: The theme park was lousy but the experience was great!

Met up with cherry, cheryl, chloe, carol and deb after that for a movie and i got another surprise! thanks cherry and cheryl for the cupcakes and though it was topped with COCONUT- i was damn happy!! Thanks to chloe for the movie blanjah too (:

The vet people knew that i was craving for freo's fish&chips so the whole lot of them accompanied me to freo. And there was the sleepover when everyone just showered me with birthday wishes and hugs at 12am. Then it was the theme park. They were so unwilling to sit on the rollarcoaster but because i really want to, they went with me also. Cherry and cheryl made me cupcakes knowing i like that too. Rae gave me handmade cookies, jess and yan made choco mudcake (my fav) and apple crumble (my fav). Mumtash, lynnette, the boys made me indian curry (my fav).Trish went to city to get topup so she could call me, even if its for a little while. She apologises for not sending presents in time. But i was super damn happy when she called, what does a little present or two matters? its those little thoughts that counts really. Its these moments that made me really happy. Yes, the presents thrills me but its really about remembering and being sincere about it.

Went home and the nagging feeling behind my head just overflowed everywhere and suddenly i was so overwhelmed with emotions, i started flooding my face. It might also be partly due to the fatigue of rushing here and there for the past few days...

Anw, thanks to those who really remembered even though you did not physically spend the day with me. thanks to these singapore bestfriends and perth bestfriends who smsed, called, facebooked or emailed (: (esp to nao and tw for comforting me out of my emo time last night) it warms my heart enough already. and i genuinely meant it when i say things like I MISS YOU and I LOVE YOU because i really really do!

at yan's apartment! i was REALLY surprised this time round ( most of the time, i tend to just spoil my own surprise party by being overly inquisitive :S )

I was told that we (the vet girls +wm) are going to swim together at yan's pool. When we reach yan's apartment, she took sooooo long to come down to let us in. So i was devising all sorts of plan to break into her apartment without knowing that something is up. WM and WY were like ants on a hot pot! HAHAHA! (direct translation,i know -.o)

Anyway, I managed to get into the pool area in my furtive attempts to break in. Then suddenly, i heard yan calling me from afar and i LOL majorly when i saw what was walking towards me.

A GROUP OF INDIANS-WANNA-BEs in SARIs and even Mike was in that Indian outfit. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! and everyone everywhere was

then i stun tio. totally caught me off-guard and suddenly i was hugging everyone, tears threatening to spill X) and more surprises when i go up! I have my own sari to wear (its in olive green! my fav colour!! thanks!!!!) and there's INDIAN FOOD. hahaha! the guys and mumtash&lynnette made curries, yan and jess made a burswood dome of rice. LOL!

and not forgetting laoniang's chocolate mudcake that took 3 hours to bake, and the YUMMILICIOUS apple crumble. We didnt eat it with chai icecream because laoye was not feeling too generous =/

ANYWAY, I WAS REALLLLYYYY SUPER DUPER ULTRA HAPPYY!! i hope evryone had a great time too! its so funny to see the guys so involved in their own Men's world and the girls just sitting around on the floor, looking like indian aunties selling chapalang things.

Haha, but we still had almost a jug of smth-smth and 2 glasses of that daiquli or smth. I dont even know what i am putting into my mouth. Then there was volka passing around and i just drank. so much for being careful of spiked drinks =S

HELLO. I am not dead, yet. Well, the only one that died was my laptop! And i hate to admit this, but i was the culprit. But thankfully for the presence of miracles, it revived. Let me tell you what your toot friend (me) did to her com.

she spilled one whole bottle, (yes bottle, not cup not bowl but BOTTLE) of water all over her laptop. Luckily she's not all that stupid because she thought of shaking the water out and blowdrying it. well, at least half of a BOTTLE of water came out before that goon decided to bring it to the repair shop, only to recieve many expected tsktsk! from the repairmens.

I AM SORRY for being a klutz lah. but its not something i can do about it. hrmph!

So yer, after the first repair. i brought it home and within minutes, it went haywired again. I think it just hates me because it was working perfectly fine at the computer shop. I totally understand that =X

anyhows, today i brought it to the computer clinic again and TADA! my comp started up good and was up and running like the old times. -.-

SO, I FINALLY got a comp to use the internet that i am paying heaps for already! =D woohoo!! But good things never last long (not for me anyway.), because i realise i have like damn alot of things due next monday

CNY '09 was no doubt one of the best ever. I think it might be probably because i am starting to learn to not take things for granted. Every moment spent with my family and friends was deeply cherished.

Its during the holidays that i feel that i am truly living because its always so short and i would try to squeeze in as much time as possible for EVERYONE. Thus, i spend everyday very eventfully (: and happily too!

Next up, the CNY parteh at my house yesterday (: it was a hit, as usual. With much screams and wails here and there occasionally, it was nevertheless a really fun night.

i burnt my hand in my enthusiasm to make a pizza for myself T.T but anyhow, i managed to make a perfect (almost) one so i am still happy (:

(blows off a dense layer of dust) Thought i should at least blog about something before silverfishes starts breeding. *shudders* i swear they are the most hardy insects, apart from xiaoqiang the cockroach. I have no idea why they even bother coming up with such ludicrous name for it -.O

ohwells. maybe xiaoqiang really have its own significance in its own ecology. My dad always say i should love cockroaches however gross they are since i am going to be a vet -.- but i really dont see a point in me embracing or expressing my love aloud for roaches when people pretty much just squish them to death. I doubt anyone would ever bring any xiaoqiangs to the vet clinic and demand for treatment.

ANY THE WAYS. why am i even talking about them?! oh yea, i have been REALLY busy these few days, or rather weeks (seeing that i haven't been blogging for weeks). I am currently working in a vet clinic and the working hours are madness.

On average, i usually reach home at about 1plus in the morning on full working days. But its really fun there because you may never know what's ahead of you, a vet pretty much live through a career of unexpectedness and new challenges. thats what i love about this career (:

there was this hammy that came in with a horn growing out from just above the right eye and its as long as it body. THE POOR HAMMY was practically dragging its head and the attached giganomous horn around the cage =((( and Dr was unable to fully remove it because 1. the hammy is damn old already and 2. the tumour was sprouting too close to its left eye T.T so we could only peel off the crust and erm, leave the tumour hanging there?

went through a series of castration and spays as well as a few abortions and dentals =( i hate abortions :( its no different from euthanasia except that the fetus have yet to have the chance to look at the world through its own eyes yet T.T Alicia and me opened a bag of amniotic sac to look at the still fetus and it was heartwrenching!! the body has already taken form :( but doctor said the organs were not formed yet so its not as bad. but still...

ohwell, unhappy things aside! On my numerous offdays ( i happen to be able to set my own offdays :) teehee!) , i met up with 04 people a couple of times (jp with rashal, hidayah, nao and ahwei where we went leparking at le art park. And with rai and siti, ahwei and nao back to bp to see the new school. finally with EVERYONE last week for an overpriced dinner at seoul. )

and my deardear L2 gang for numerous mahjong sessions that lasted through the night and morning -.- when all of us just went delirious and hysterical. Oh, and the hair-dying session was another round of madness as well. Erm, i managed to colour my fingers, temple and thigh with spots of brown but somehow my hair remained black. But magically the white hairs all turned somewhat brown-black so i am happy enough (: Me, rimei and noe must have amused bao to no end when we just stumbled around the houses like three blind mice, watched the tv centimetres away from the it =S ahwei bought food for us after that (: yayness~

met up with my cousins too. and we played like that FEI QI thingie, that aeroplane board game? I think the whole block could hear our thundering laughters. OOPS. and how childish can we get seriously?!?! i miss those monopoly and caram sessions at ahma's house =(

and chienlan!- omg i miss her like madness. she's like my twin please, both mentally and physically. we look so alike now that she has grown so much taller. we are like of the exact same height and weight, same dress-sense, same likings and dislikes and same taste for food! =DD MY TWIN! we couldnt stop talking upon meeting.

She cheered me up alot, thanks! because a super unfortunate thing happen just an hour before meeting her and i was DEVASTATED T.T cried for two nights and well, i think i am getting over it now. but i will miss her dearly :(((

had lunch with liying and darcie too! had a heart-to-heart talk with liying after darcie left and yea, it was great catching up with them again! (:

trish has been back for almost a month already and i miss her soooo much :( i must squueze out time to reply her super long email with a superlong one as well. and my ally, yes my ally!! where are you! lets set a date with ttst upon reaching perth! =DD whatever happen to our cheap buffet girl?

=D i finally went back to the BP campus at cck after 2 whole years! Everything's so clean and bright now, it hurts the eye. and i finally met up with rai and siti, havent seen them for ages and yet we could still hit it off so easily (: never belittle the power of friendship~ All the teachers are pretty much the same, Ng Yong Heng is still sooooo cute!! =DD

Had lunch and made a fool out of ourselves in the arcade! I made them try parapara with me! xD HAHAHA! Then me and ahwei went to play a prank on people at the MRT. OMG qio peng! =DD

I am dead tired now! slept for barely 4 hours last night. no correction. should be this morning -.o Rimei, nao, ahwei, jiahuang came over yesterday night and we mahjonged all the way to 4.30am before we gave in to our fatigue and watched a damn bimbo and brainless movie starring jessica simpson. HAHA! yah, like how thought-provoking can her movies be right? me and rimei penged within 10 minutes =D i am damn good at doing such stuff. yay me!

then, had to drag ourselves out of bed, mattress actually at 11 plus because i was going to have lunch with the vets at Sunshine place. I got myself a JOB there (: no longer non-paying. they are willing to pay me to work part-time with them and the working hours are entirely up to me =D they are such nice people!!

hohoho! i havent been blogging since dont know when. Christmas has kept me pretty busy and i must say that this year's christmas was one of the best! there were 3 christmas parties and my last christmas party was spent on a farm!! I spent my december 25th on my uncle's farm, plucking chilli padis, harvesting sweet potato leaves and offered myself as a sacrifice for the damned mosquitoes there. OMG, i bet it was like a christmas feast for those six-legged anthropodas.

i also attempted to bond with all the 10 dogs there, particularly this super stubborn dog that just wont succumb to any of our cooings. by the time we were about to leave, i could only managed to touch him lightly without him trying to bite my precious phalanges off. ohwells, mission somewhat accomplished.

Oh and i met up with trish twice in a week =D with my dearest ally too!! HAHAHA we had lots of fun, erm... at the expense of ally's sanity. I AM SORRY LIJIN, once again i have failed as an ally! =X watched australia with trish and her sister yesterday. I had to watch it with someone who did ELACS before and NOPE, it wasnt a good movie. not at all.

1. the main point of "the stolen generation" was not resonated as much as they should. I felt that it ended too much like a fairytale, which is completely untrue. Just how many half-caste kids from the stolen generations would end up like that little guy from Australia? Hardly. Many of them grew up in rough living conditions although there may be some (however few) that i must admit, actually led a good life in the hands of the angmohs.

2. the movie was way too long, it was even long enough for two hero-save-the-day scenes. firstly, hugh jackman saved the day by herding the cattles onto the ship. Secondly, he rescued the half-caste kids during the bombing of Darwin. its like, "wooohooo macho hugh jackman saved the day!!" and "oh. he saved the day again -.O " too much heroic stuff! this seems like 2 episodes of PPG.

3. the characters were too stereotyped. Just look at nicole kidman. At first the way she fussed over the kangaroos was cute. Then, it got annoying -.- until the point she broke out of her prissiness during the rougher days. That was when she acted more like a normal human.

All in all, it wasnt really up to my expectations. If not for the fact that HUGH JACKMAN IS DAMN HOT, i wouldnt have liked the movie much. and yessssss omg, he's abs and chest muscles!!!!!!!! and and he's shagginess!!!! *faints*

Anyway, tomorrow shall mark the end of my wisdom tooth sufferings~ i am going for a mini surgery to remove it. As much as i have been trying to act gungho about that, I AM REALLY VERY SCARED! T.T one week of rotting at home =(((((((( SIANNNNNNNNN

7hrs train ride to KL. it was not bad at all!! completely out of what i imagined it to be. it was even better than the plane. the space, seat and the butter cake they served us just coz we are in first class!! HAHAHA! sucker economy class~ HEH HEH HEH!

I even managed to finish reading a book without vomitting my guts out (:

went shopping and movie watching with my dear sis last saturday and we watched BOLT at causeway! Its super nice! hahaha, i am sorry if you are hearing this again and again because i cannot stop yapping about how nice that movie is. RHINO THE FAT BROWN HAMMY is damn cute!!! the name is a little weeee bit ironic though =S

teochew dinner after that was quite a letdown bcause there is no ORNEE!!! me and yan were updating each other about our respective teochew dinner. Hers also got no ORNEE! what happen to teochew traditional wedding dinner?!?!

For my own teochew wedding dinner in future (if i ever get married that is), i am going to make it

I MET UP WITH BAO, NAO AND RIMEI AND WE WENT ECP!!! bao psycho-ed us to 1. take the train all the way to boonlay because she THINKS there will be more seats left for us to sit if we take at JE (we had to thank her ALOUD at JE for reasons that were all wrong?) 2. walk from Eunos to ECP for 2 hrs (okay fine, it was just 30minutes but it felt like 2hrs in the heat!)

So leh, by the time we actually reach ECP and got our bikes, it was noon! and we set off at 9am! LOL!! throughout the ride, we gian icecream aunties/uncles selling those $1 icecream but DONCH HAVE T.T so we made do with walls lo

and we saw TAN SUAN TIAN!!!!! hahahaha! i have such luck with teachers! first, i saw Tiger at Beauty World then we ALMOST saw Selva. ok, it was selva 20years ago maybe? anyway, TAN SUAN TIAN never forgot us! =D he's so cute, seriously!

oh, and we did a really romantic thing together (us four lah! not with tan suan tian -.-). we cycled TOGETHER in the rain!! ehh, but the post-cycling bit is not all that glamourous. We were just shivering our ass off at HK cafe. not a very romantic sight but we had fun!!! LOTS OF THEM SO ITS OKAY!!! i even looked like some freak, wearing BOTH my sunnies and bao's cap in attempt to protect my lens from the rain from shooting into my eye.

it was fun sitting at HK cafe and soaking up their seats with our wet pigus!! They gave me uncooked chicken that still had blood on it so being a typical singaporean, I COMPLAINED! The waitress came and ask me if i wanted a new dish or its ok to just change the chicken. I gave her that quizzed expression back and got myself A WHOLE NEW DISH~ Since they are so nice to me, i shall help them advertise a little

WTH.) and i dressed up as a slut with the highest heels, shortest skirt possible with a tube. LOL! and we were just prancing around in the room until our legs got sore from the heels -.-

MY COM HAS VIRUS!!!!!! i hope it doesnt die on me before i go back!! at least die after i transfer all my photos into a new external hard drive. if nt, I CRY MAN! ok, tt is not much of a threat nw since i cry wayyyy too often. hrmph!! nw i hav occasional weird pop ups telling me to download antivirus 2009 -.- and the nt-very-intelligent me when to merrily click on the download button.

luckily i still hav some sense left in my battled soul (frm the screwed-up slping patterns) to google tt antivirus program n realise tt its, AN ANTIVIRUS VIRUS!! oh tian! the irony! zzzz.. so i cancel download IMMEDIATELY! bt i tink my com was alr hit with a virus even b4 tt antivirus 2009 thing comes along in attempt to make it worse.

and tt stupid virus/viruses had cost me a 2000 words essay n my 6 pages long lab report lor! PFFFTT!! luckily, those documents was not TOTALLY gone; just bits and pices of it. i am so unlucky that its lucky enough that those docs are only partially deleted n not thoroughly deleted.

and YAY!! i metup with onglijin and dear batman!! HAD A GREAT TIME just dinnering with them, shopping with rae (omgg! i swear rae is jinxing my wealth!!) everytime i go out with her, ther seem to be soooo many nice things for me to spend bombs on! and i bought myself a turquoise Roxy wallet! its reali pretty n quite cheap lah ( i shud seriously stop abusing the fact tt the exchange rate is damn low nw). and i love the pouring-out-our-hearts sessions we have (: feel so LIBERATED after tt lahh!

yer.. n lijin abandon us for cell so rae n i bonded at reids com lab till midnight n trish called to KACAU too (authentic malaysian, wey LOH corrected me for my kajiao. the correct spelling is KACAU). when we got back to lijin's homestay, we called trish (WE LOVE TRISHMOMMY!!) again and talked till suuuperrrr late/ early. its like almost daylight for us alr n she just had dinner =S

oh n ytd, we decided to be spontaneous and thus popped over mike n brandon's hse to surprise them with bubble tea and cakes! hahaha, n oso to return brandon a favour for helping us print stuff =) we wanted to sneak in through the sliding door bt decided against that, for the fear of being mistaken as buglars and kena whacked. So we went in the normal way; knocked and waited for someone to open the door and excitedly said, "HIIII SURPRISE~"

Hello! i just finished two of my Mid-Sem exams worth 20/25% each o.O Studied damn hard for it so hope all of tt will pay off lo. Now i am left with tourism journal, ethnographical (try saying tt 10times really quickly. UR TONGUE GT CAUGHT TOO RYTE! ok, so its nt just me n my speech deficiency again =D ) essay, soil essay, plant collection project.

n yes, i am still doing vet science though none of my current assignments now seemed to have any relevance to animals. oh well, i like kevin dingdongbell (animal science unit lecturer- without the dingdong part XD) so i am gg to do my soil and plant project properly =D

Yan n jess are still doing their papers, i managed to complete it 15minutes before the ending time so i dont have to go through all the hassle of lining up to pass up my paper. BUAHAHA! XD

Ohh.. i haven recieve all the rottnest pics frm cheryl lee so i cant post them up. But it was damn fun and being the typical klutz, i fell off the bicycle and SEVERLY INJURE myself. bruises all over my right knee (gt one new patch nw cuz i knocked into the door tday -.-) and right calf plus cuts all over the bruises with the biggest one on my left knee T.T NO MORE MEI TUI !!! i got TENDINITIS!

THE HORRORS!! whats tt?! ok la, its just inflammation of the tendon -.O its quite a big deal ok! i couldnt utilise my right hand AT ALL for the past 4days lo! and its swollen and painful T.T (even as i type with such remarkably slow speed nw, my hand still hurts a little)

BUT this can be considered to be a blessing in disguise bah i guess? =DDD i found out tt my left hand is damn keng! it can

1. brush teeth

2. wash face

3. bathe

4. hold incredulous amts of things-

which i tot only my right hand is capable of handling

5. write! -

i am ambidextrous- to a limited extent laa -.o

6. eat and hold utensils-

i ate SIEW YO (roasted pork) with my left hand lo, it was un-cut ok!

7. cook lunch-

ok. yan prepared the ingredients for me and i just had to dump everything into the pot of water ><

9th Aug: watched NDP with Lijin, Yan, Jess, Lynn, Mumtash n Cheryl [i tot this yr's NDP sucked? the themes were all wrong n the songs were crap too! BOOO!! ]

12th Aug: watched Batman again with Yan, Jess, Brandon, Mike and Wey yin (: cleared up some doubts abt the movie (hahaha! poor me n nao catch no ball for the first 30mins cuz we went in late =S OOPS~) den dinner at Nandos! Peri-peri fries! HAHA the name's so cute!

13th Aug: went out with Cheryl to get presents for dear Cherry =D shopped a while b4 Cheryl hurried hme to rest her battled soul =/

15th Aug: went to UWA to look for dear Rae and Onglijin again (: once again, we couldnt stop yapping! called trish mommy n kajiao-ed her like crap AGAIN =D slept over at lijin's place.

16th Aug: met Cherry and Cheryl for a bdae dinner =D I am so HAPPY to see them! oh, i miss those mad days!

17th Aug: we went to walk clad-the-dog with Brandon and Mike. Dinner at their place. Brandon made SIEW YO (roasted crackling-skin pork)- those reali fatty ones? =S Mike bought fish and chips (: Yan, Jess and Me made chicken rice! =DD woohoo! n we like sat ther n eat-talk frm 6plus to almost 10pm?!? ZOMG!

HELLO!! i gt so much to update on, i dunno where to start =S

okay, first up! i moved hse so i am staying in the same rm with yan and jess. We moved in the middle of the night , at like 9.30pm? to make things worse, we were in our oversized trackpants and baggy jackets -.O

After moving, we were flat out so we slept and woke up to a damn cluttered rm ^^ at 6.30am to go to WET market at canningvale. Obasan-ed there till 8 before making our way back groggily. Lijin and Lynn came over to visit and help us move the rest of our stuff =D We treated lijin to turkish bread and Ja-Gung to express our gratitude (: HOW NICE!

First day of sch, we were 20mins late. Yan n Jess woke up late and i was indulging myself with breakfast while waiting for them~
2nd day of sch, we were 20mins late too cuz we screwed up our timetables.
3rd day of sch, we were right on time (: [at least tts hw i rmbed it to be]
today, me n yan were 15mins late bcuz we decided to detour to woolworths to get M&Ms and PODS ^^jess came when the lecture's almost ending. EVEN MORE KENG!

tmr we shall reach sch 10mins earlier (: yay!

and since the post is so random alr, i shall throw in more miscellaneous updates! had my first driving lesson (since i came back a wk ago) with this new driving instructor. the previous one retired? YAH.. i was quite cynical abt the new one bt i was nice n gave her the benefit of doubt. BUT GOSH! HOW I WISH I DIDNT!

Firstly, she was late for 30mins cuz there was a jam on leach hwy. and so she claimed. then she started gaving mi crap directions and landed both of us at fremantle (which is on the other end of South st-Murdoch, wher my destination was SUPPOSED to be). I was quite o.O alr and she was ther GIGGLING and exclaiming,

and ther i was thinking,

As proud as i am to be a SINGAPOREAN, the extent of kiasu-ness (which i am sure many singaporeans are capable of displaying) totally puts me off at times. Take the other day when i was returning home frm bugis as an example,

Despite knowing that one should never consider the alternative of bus-ing home during the peak hr, i boarded 960

and what exactly did i do that for?

well, its a straight bus home and it saved me some walking distance. tt's exactly why (: anw, 960 was filled to the ~~brim~~ front steps. As if it wasnt frustrating enough that i am taking an hr plus to get hme instead of the usual 45mins, random pple had to aggrevate my frustration.

Like i said, the bus was already very packed, with even the front steps fully occupied. So at subsequent stops, the bus driver did not even bother opening the front door to allow more ppl on board. Only the back doors were open for alighting. Then there was this family (nuclear or extended, i dont know. and do not wish to know as well-they r all of the same kind anw. nt to b racist or peoplecist or wadever.) anw, yah. they were trying desperately to get onto 960.

The next bus was probably in like, what? 10minutes? but no, they refuse to wait any longer. So they went to the back door and SCURRIED up the steps, which yours truly was already standing very uncomfortably there. I was further squashed. and angered.

i was on the verge on WTF-ing at them?! like wth. As if it wasnt enough to piss yours truly off, they had to tap their stupid Ezlink on the machine which then sent off a loud squeal of warning bleeps. NOT ENOUGH! they had to do it AGAIN. like hello? can u freaking read? it blatantly says there, "ERROR! ~~PLS FREAKING~~ TAP AT THE FRONT"

Obviously the bus driver heard the loud bleeps and thus she stood up from her seat and hollowed down the aisle, "DONT TAP UR EZLINK FROM THE BACK! COME IN FRONT!"

I was holding on to this pole thingie (my balancing skills arent all tt fantastic, u see.) and one of these monkeys was clinging onto the same pole as i was too. Everyone was happy. THEN! he changed his mind! He decided he din wan to hold the pole anymore instead he wans to LEAN on that pole. So? my hand was squashed under his body weight. and do u noe how violated i felt?!

Bt no, i was not prepared to just withdraw my hand and let him have his way. and thus i rotated my fingers in such a way my nails were jabbing into his sides. BUT NO! he did not budge and i just get this sick feeling his enjoying it?! i was thoroughly disgusted and thus i took my hand off.

Minutes later, i realised that he had shifted his weight and his body was no longer in contact with the pole. His bag was. Therefore, i happily went back to gripping the pole. Almost instantly, this idiot started reaching into the pocket of his UBER-TIGHT jeans and dug out his handphone (with much difficulty, trust me. its that tight. i don even noe hw he manage to fit the phone in it in the first place)

Anw, in the process of doing tt, he had to tilt his body to the right and AGAIN! press his body against my fingers. AND I TA BULEH TAHAN ALREADY PLS! so i TSK! him damn loudly and withdrew my hand with such outrage. and he still had the cheek to look at me with that pretended sheepish look. I WAS ALL OUT TO GORGE HIS BIG BLACK ROUND PUPILS OUT OKAY! bt i decided against it and gave him MY DEADLIEST DEATH GLARE instead.

He immediately repelled from pole and ~~shrivelled away in fear.~~ HRMPH! THAT ASS! i was therefore, in a damn grumpy mood all the way frm bugis to home.

Ytd's company dinner was nt all that fantastic after all =( wad a letdown! At 75 dollars per head, it was definately overpriced! hrmph!

there wasnt enough chilli in the chillicrab, the fried rice was too oily, the roasted chicken was a tad too salty... i had to further aggrevate the saltiness by dipping my chicken into this salt-plum powder thingie -.- bt tt was because i didnt know tt ther was salt in it! well, nt before i pop the salt-sopped chicken into my mouth n started spasming inwardly.

last friday i met up with weishan and noeleen for dinner n i ate yu pian meefen again! I MISS NOELEEN LIKE MAD!!!! boooo! hope her studies go well so we can do vet tgt!!! =DD

went for Unity sec sch performance on sat. n wad else can i say but, I MISS BP LIKE CRAPPPP!!!! T.T n zomg, onli the dance performance is presentable?! n i am nt saying tt just cuz my sis's in it ok. Met my sis after sch n it was a mad rush to meet yan's cousin at novena! after tt, it was mad rush to lucky plaza cuz we die oso muz eat the YONG TAU FU ther n the shop closes at 6pm -.- we reached ther at 5.55pm! WAKAKAKAK!! bt nt much ingredients left -.- so we had to make do with wad they hav loe.. as long as they still hav the SAUCE! cuz tts their SPECIALITY tt made their YONG TAU HU so YUMMILICIOUS!!

after tt, we went to hav our HAKKAIDO GREEN TEA ICECREAM AND GELATO GREEN TEA ICECREAM!! the final verdict? HAKKAIDO's IS NICER cuz gelato's has too much milk!!! n den we went nuts over green tea! we went to get green tea matcha to make icecream and pastries from it!! =DD it was damn bloody expensive bt WE DON CARE!!

n since we were at TAKA n food was readily available......

woke up damn early in the morning to met up with trish for an interview to be an assistant teacher to a chinese tuition. HAHAHA! if nt for trish n my sadist love to outtalk n outsmart 9 year old kids, I die oso wont go! For one, I HATE KIDS. n secondly, CHINESE IS NOT EXACTLY MY STRONGEST SUBJECT CURRENTLY, after being detached frm it for almsot 2 yrs.

den we went EATING! bought MEI ZHEN XIANG'S GOURMET BA KWAH n was utterly disappointed with it cuz half of the slice i was eating is FATS. i am nt exactly a big fat of gooey, sweet fats so i didnt reali like it. after tt we went to Hakkiaido fair n got ourselves scallop fish cakes!! =D nice~ N then we went sakae for a proper lunch! =DD stuffed ourselves with CARBO n left for SHOPPING!

woke up damn early to go teckwhye for BREKKIE! I MISS SINGAPORE'S KOPITIAM BREKKIE! T.T den we went wet-marketting~ went out in the late afternoon with xiaogu, sangu and angeline jiejie cuz i refused to get out of the house during the mid-day when it was DAMN HOT!!!

came back n i cooked HOT N SOUR SOUP for my family! my dad was damn cynical abt it bt upon his first mouthful, he was like, "MMM! WAH NT BAD HAR!" -.- TSKTSK! went over to grandpa's hse for gathering after dinner.

Today 30/06
went for my 2nd dental appointment to remove the stiches in the morning. met jess to go SPCA! den we went to Crystal Jade for Dimsum bt we ended up ordering damn oily stuff cuz i wanted to eat smth doughy n i cant eat prawns too! POOR JESS!!

then had to rush off to meet my dad to settle some banking stuff. n while we were at it, we went to renew my passport and pay for my plane ticket. Had teabreak after tt at pasir panjang food centre XD den we went over to the wholesale market to get some dried goodies =)) picked up my sis frm sch on the way back.

i am like damn lucky my stiches r still intact. either tt or my dentist is damn skilful!

I was told to adhere to a soft food diet for at least 3 days. n tt just means CONGEE CONGEE N MORE CONGEE! for a day, i resisted n resisted- only had fish congee for lunch and dinner. BUT DEN, u hav to understand that i had been deprived of SG food for half a yr ok. n the onli delicacy i ate bfore my extraction was tt bowl of fishball noodle we had upon touching down on sunday.

n soo...

On the 2nd day, when trish came over to visit, i was snacking on ARNOTTS BISCUITS liao. the process of eating it was damn tedious n it hurts too bt siya ta buleh tahan! ohh hahaha poor trish was damn traumatised when i gave her a "special greeting" at guardians =) i saw her at the cosmetics section from afar n after reconfirming tt its her, i ran over n smacked her pigu!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LIJIN U SHUD HAV SEEN THE LOOK ON TRISH FACE! she spun around immediately with tt look of horror! n then it was hyperventilation! LOL!! zomg so fun to kajiao our trish mummy! =DDD i miss her so much pls! couldnt stop talking frm the moment we see each other till i send her off at the bus stop! WE MUST HAV SLPOVER WHEN MDM ONG COMES BACK! xD

that night, my dad was summoned back to work at 9pm -.- cuz smth cropped up and the APNNs couldnt resolve it. me and sis decided to tag along too (: heh! we left his work site near 1am so both of us were damn slpy luh, we just slumped over at the back of the car on our way hme n zzzz...

then.. we passed by pasir panjang food centre n my dad went, "SUPPER?" IN AN INSTANCE, both of us SNAPPED OUT OF OUR STUPOR N WENT, "YESSSSSSYESSSSS!!!" n so we pulled up at the carpark n dived into the food centre! hahahaha had ROJAK AND A LARGE SERVE OF OYSTER OMELETTE at 1am! =X oops~

n tday, i went towning with my sangu n i had dimsum n yongtouhu =D wakaka! its damn nice! after tt, we carried our happy tummies around to tangs, taka and the hakkaido foodfare n ate more!! spend $2 on one pathetic ball of red bean mochi tt was too sweet =( bought green tea corn crackers to share too! YUMYUM!! its seasonal so go grab it whilst its still on the shelves!

n zomg, MUZ GO TO THE HAKKAIDO FOOD FARE! ther r like damn lot of things for u to sample on!! bt muz buy smth luh, however small. i bought a small packet of seafood soy crackers- 5.80 for just 100g -.-

didnt get to eat the HAKKAIDO green tea icecream cuz we were damn full so i am gg back tmr with my sis to eat them!!! Sooo... I got FIVE of the text messages this afternoon. and I was just thinking to myself, bloody hell what the hell happened. So while trying to call her, I made my way to Jess's room and I put the phone on loudspeaker, and all the 2 of us could hear was...

It sounded like footsteps but we weren't sure so both of us thought it was a false alarm but still on our guard, we both started shouting into the phone, HUI QIAN HUI QIAN HUI QIAN!!!

and the Tok. Tok. Tok. Tok. sound CONTINUED.

Then Jess was in the midst of saying that the TOK sound was probably Hui Qian's footsteps because she was wearing boots when suddenly we heard cars driving past and car doors slamming and male voices being shouted out.

Jess and I literally stared at the phone and simultaneously starting SCREAMING AND YELLING Hui Qian's name and I was ALL SET to run back to my room
and grab my car keys to go save her, and Jess was going to give Mike a ring because Hui Qian was with him doing math assignment when we both left school,
when Hui Qian picks up the phone was like...

Went for the marathon this morning. was DEAD TIRED bt it wasnt bcuz of the run bt bcuz of the severe lack of slp T.T I slept over at Yan n Jess's hmestay ytd night =D it wasnt till 12.30am b4 we went off to dreamland n was violently awoken this morning at 6am! by yan's damn loud alarm clock n my damn bollywood alarm ringtone.

n ytd night, while attempting to descend frm the upper bunk bed to use the toilet, i fell n woke yan up -.- such a klutz luhh so nw the side of my butt hurts T.T n i was freezing though i had on yan's pullover n my cotton pants -.-

i am gg for the walkaton-marathon on Sunday 11th May to support Breast Cancer Research (: it's a Mother's Day event n yer since ther is finally smth for me to do abt this illness, i am all up for it! i wanted to run that 7.5km marathon but Jess would be in the 3.5 section alone so we decided against it loe.

Instead of being sponsored to walk/run that event, we have to sponsor ourselves at AUD25 each O.o but its for a gd cause (: n i am totally happy abt it. its better than spending that amount on a hideous-looking pair of gum boots (those fishmonger hi-cut boots i bought for Post Mortem). Besides, we will be getting a pretty-looking PINK tupperware with cute little flowers on it =D YAY!

erm.. no. tts nt my hand. though i do quite a fair bit of hsework, my hand's nt so wrinkled yet pls.

So yer, i have to wake up at an unearthly hr (again!) to go over to yanandjess's before we set off tgt towards Lake Monger Reserve at Wembley. n then perhaps a studying session tgt after the event? HMM!

ytd Jess, Yan and Lynn popped over to dumpling king chi restuarant to hav lunch while i was working ther =D YAY! so happy to see them ther though Yan was like kajiaoing me O.-

den after work, Yan and Jess came over to study maths tgt, supposingly. until we start our baking-steaming frenzy. I swear we must be pigs in our last life or smth. we couldnt stop eating all the way from 4pm to 9plus? first it was the junk food n chocs, den we gt bored so we went to bake STICKY DATE PUDDING, APPLE N BLUEBERRY MUFFINS (pictures to be uploaded when yan send mi those pics), den we had steam fish n fruits!

n we just permanently plonked ourselves in the kitchen, checking out our baking goods periodically n standing ther to gian at the food. n FINALLY it was done! well, nt exactly... bt we were damn greedy so we took it out anyway n everyone, SPOONS UP n we dug in! finished the whole pan of sticky date pudding! YUMYUM! except the erm, caramel part which we seperated it away frm the rest in a messy pile at the side. O.O

den it was the apple n blueberry muffins which didnt turn out to be as nice as we tot it would be. T.T

n after tt we went back to my rm for maths after like a 2 hrs break. we did a lil maths b4 i suggested steaming the fish =DDD n so she trottled out of my rm and stood ard the kitchen again! n while waiting for the fish to be steamed, we polished off the CHAR KWAY TEOW lai fried for me =D it was damn nice~~~

n YAY!! after 10mins, our steam fish was done! HAHAHAHAHA.. n so JIEMEI MEN, once again we DIG IN! =) after the fish was fruits frenzy!! we ate the siapsiap pessimons n apples. jess had her plum =D

n ok, we convinced ourselves tt we are full n so we washed up n made our way back to study. which so did not take place. we talked all the way till abt 10.30pm b4 they had to go cuz its quite dangerous to drive at night. =D n tt concluded our so not productive day! I almost got robbed by a 8-10 yr old kid !

Ytd while i was at work, there were a few aboroginals loittering outside our chinese restuarant and my lady boss told us to be careful of them cuz they might sneak in during the peak period and steal frm our cashier. Well, i wasn't all that convinced until she told me it happened before and i was like O.O

A police car came shortly after n we saw the grp of aboriginals running in the opposite direction. I think they might have stolen from some other shops. It was a cat and mouse chase bt apparently, the mouse was too smart for the cat -.O

Bt everything was alright after tt, nothing got stolen or whatsoever.HAHA, i tink the main reason being; there wasnt really any peak period ytd =X Me and Julia (lady boss's daughter) were solving crosswords? =D

I left for work at 3pm and as i was walking hme, this aboriginal girl (abt age 8-10 yrs old) walked up to me and ask me for money. She had this.. really.. impish n sly look tt made mi so scared. You can never underestimate these ppl ok n besides i was carrying my salary, ipod n phone. I was scared shit when i saw her "accomplices" further down the road starring at us.

So i was like, "uhhhhh...no." She still asked mi, "u sure?!" with tt reali evil look of hers *shudders* "Yea." and i turned and walk ultra fast back to the restuarant that was like a good 20metres away. Behind me, i can hear her shouting back, "where are you going!"

SHIT MAN. i was damn scared pls. luckily the grp of them didnt give chase and my fear must have been written all over my face when i reach the restuarant because the lady boss was like ,"what happened??"

and so i gt a free ride hme (:

aboroginals are the native people living in Australia. They are a community of people who are less educated and have supposingly a lower standard of living. I think it's because that's the way they are. more primitive i guess? to them, their current way of life is adequent to make them satisfied. However, more often than not, other people might think otherwise.

people ostracise n look down on them. Though it might be partly due to their status in the country, it was also partly due to the fact that they smoke n drink alot; to the extend of causing harm to the society. Well, to me, i tink its all a vicous cycle; the aussies ostracising them, they are unhappy, turn to alcohol n drugs, commit crime subconsiously, affect the aussies and made them dislike the abos more.

Now, the mere sight of an aborignal made ppl's hair stand on. People tend to relate to places with alot of abos as; DANGEROUS. n somehw the crimes commited all relate back to abos. It is quite sad though, hw the society can cause an entire community to behave this way n be stereotype so biasedly.

even so, i am damn scared of them though i still believe that amongst them, there are sure to be goodnatured pple (: cuz i have encountered a few of them who r really nice (:

the hse just gt ten times livelier since ahloong's arrival at our hse. He's anny's n lai's v gd frd frm Curtin Uni. Seeing them, makes me wonder wad mi n my best frds would be like 10yrs frm nw. would we still be as close as nw? or would we be so tied up with our own seperate lives to hav time for each other?

its just so heartwarming to see the three of them, playing and having so much fun together as if they were still in those Uni days. Every night was highness, every night was laughters, every night was a memorable one.. Amongst them, i don seem to see any reservations of some sorts. It was as if they have been tgt for ages when the fact is, they havent seen ahloong for a few mths or so alr (since he's permanently living in Melbourne nw)

it makes me think of me and my super best frds back home. I pretty much havent met them for almost the whole of yr 2007 bt when i see them again, there wasnt any uncomfortable feelings. Things went instantly back to the old days and hw i wish it would stay like that, forever.

"mygoshmygoshmygosh!"over n over again. den i started spamming Anny with calls bt she didnt pick up n i though something else reali terrible muz hav happened. Then i called lai instead n she answered with a eerily calm tone,

"yes angela. our hse gt break in. i am at hme now, gg to make a police report. i talk to u later" and she hanged up.

i was like in ULTRAPANIC MODE n so i rushed out to Sir Walter's Cafe in search for Yan n Jess. but to my dismay, they weren't there. Only Mike n his frd was left there n i started calming myself down inwardly n said as serene as i could be,

"mike~ do u noe wher yan n jess is?"
"erm.. they went in to use the computers"
"k!"

and i literally ran off.. and when i saw yan, tears just start streaming down my cheeks and i was like,

"yann~~~ my hse.. my hse gt break in.. my laptop.. " *seizures of tears* "all gone......."
"huh!! aiyo.. okok.. calm down.. does ur laptop has insurance???"
*shakes head n cried more*

then my phone rang, anny was calling me..

anny: "so how angela?!?!"
me (still sobbing n speaking incoherantly) :" i dont noeeeeeee!!!!"
anny: "omg angela!!!!!!!! HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL!! ARE U LIKE CRYING!!"
*shock tio*
me (at the top of my voice, in the freaking library) : "WAD LAH ANNY LIM!!!! MAKE MI SO SCARED.. OMGGGG U SUCKS MANNNN!!!!"

and then i burst out into bouts of laughters n i was still tearing, mind u! my god! i am like some lunatic woman sufferring from post-natal depression or smth pls! then i realise tt lots of pple were staring at me n i toned down abit bt i was still loud o.O

Den i called lai n declared i will get my revenge!

N GUESSED WAD!! i pulled off a prank on them, majorly too!!! =DDD wakakakaka!!

meanwhile.. i was smsing anny too

den after lab, i quickly went home and when anny called mi (cuz we usually go home tgt since her work ends at ard the same time as my sch) to ask mi if i am ready to go home, i told her

"i am already home. dont feel well today. i skipped lab session n went home straight after buying my medicine."

"huhh.. r u serious??? okok, i will see u at home"

and while waiting for her n lai to come back, i was revamping my rm to look like a sick-bay. i started looking for pills n medicines. i cleared my bedside table n replaced it with

medicines+ half drank cup of water

and then i closed the light, drew the blinds, covered myself in blanket, messed up my hair n put on a droopy look! I WAS ALL GEARED to pounce on my poor little preys..

after waiting for quite some time, which i conveniently dozed off... THEY BOTH CAME BACK, and into the lion's den! =DDD

both of them saw me in bed and they went, "ehhh angela.. u serious anot?? don bluff us ok!"and anny switched on the light n saw my water n medicine n quickly sat next to me to see if i am ok.

anny:"angela!! r u ok???"
me (croaking) ," no... i just had medicine. still abit. giddy.."
anny started scrutinising my medicine n said, "how come its nt panadol??"
me (croaking) ," tts.. for my anaemic problem... its nt just headache...."
lai, "was it from that prank?!"
me (still croaking) , "i dunnoo... after tt my heart just felt so tight n i couldnt really breathe.. so i skipped sch n head straight home..."

and lai started reprimanding anny for initiating that prank on me.. and suddenly..

I SPRANG OUT OF BED AND SCREAMED,

"HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL DAY ANNY AND LAI~~~~~"

and both of their facial expressions instantlychanged from confusion, to a look of ulter surprise and anny exclaimed,

and next, i pranked lijin n rae!! Rae kena but lijin was smart enuf! boo!! hahahaha, Rae was so upset frm my fake news of me being deported from australia for a yr =D den i called her n screamed "HAPPY APRIL'S FOOL DAY" and she was like, "waaaadd lahhh.."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! n i attempted to prank my dad bt to no avail so he kena pranked by my sis like 3148738579485 times today! LOL XD how gullible can my dad gets??? the ultimate one!!

I FINISHED MY GAIA HYPOTHESIS ESSAY (boo chantzewei aka ChicopekTvWorld for trying to suan me with tt =DDDDD ) and guessed wad?!?! its my first essay tt has a TOTAL WORD COUNT of TWO THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHT WORDS!!! AM I JUST FORMIDABLE OR WAD! i literally pengsun ytd pls.. and i tink i gt like hangover frm tt essay?!?!

so much so tt i din slp well at all last night. n this morning, i was greeted with

A DARK, GLOOMY N SUN-LESS MORNING!

Never, EVER underestimate Perth's erratic weather man!! it was like still BRIGHT n SUNNY ytd afternoon n all the way till nighttime, it was still relatively warm. n today?? its a freezing maximum of 18 degrees. EVERYONE at Uni was geared for WINTER lar lahh.. n autumn has barely started!

Everywher i go and every walking being i saw wore a jacket n ur dear frd here, wore nth but a SHORT SLEEVED shirt XD I GANG-HO ANOT!! o.O n whilst walking to the biological sci building, it was so cold tt....

i don feel cold at all.

i was numbed like, THOROUGHLY!! bt it was a funny sight though, to see everyone all kuku-fied; back-hunched and walking with their chin tucked in, in ultra fast speed towards WARMTH. tt is only available in the library. cafe doesnt help much, nt when the door's permanently in the open-sesame mode O.O

OKAYYYY I AM GG TO DO SMTH PRODUCTIVE NW b4 leaping off into my bed of warmth (: cheers every1 !! bye~
